Gold-Plated Dartz Kombat "The Dictator"
When we reported about the golden armored truck that was going to be provided by Dartz for the filming of the fantasy Saddam Hussein biopic “The Dictator”, we were not content. We treated our readers with an unsuitable image then. However, our hunt for the gold-plated SUV image was on and here we are back to let you drool over the first pictures of Sasha Baron Cohen’s gold-plated Dartz Kombat. The movie will feature not one but three such shiny SUVs.

La Piola on Lyndhurst Terrace Hong Kong
A brand new Italian restaurant has opened on Lyndhurst Terrace called La Piola. Meaning 'Tavern' in Italian, the restaurant is designed to give local diners an authentic Italian experience, socializing over a glass of wine and enjoying delicious homemade, hearty food cooked in the Piedmont style.
Located in the northwest of Italy, Turin (Torino) is the capital city of Piedmont. The 'slow food' trend originated from this region, as does some of the best rice, risotto and wines. At La Piola, the wine selection focuses on Piedmont wines, some of which are new to the Hong Kong market and exclusive to the restaurant.
Hong Kong - Cocktails Killer View over Victoria Harbor
Hong Kong is now world-renown for its daily 8pm laser and light show called A Symphony of Lights where laser beams, colored lights and searchlights originating from 40 skyscrapers on both sides of Victoria Harbor dance to choreographed music. What better way to take in this amazing spectacle than by sipping a cocktail high above the city in a dark and sultry setting with killer views. Here are my three favorites:

Best of The Rich Traveller
We take a look at the best travel brings us this week. Bespoke experiences are the order of the day -from gourmet experiences in Vietnam to all-inclusive offer at Parrots Cay, photography excursions, free nights at the Four Seasons Chicago or grape-picking at lush Provencal vineyards, our Rich Traveller is looking for personalized, one-of-a-kind unique experiences. And of course, just like everything else, we must do it in style: in our Valentino Resort Collection, our Hermès printed beach towel or on a 360-degree Outdoor Lounge bed. We also take a peek into what’s up and coming. While we’re thrilled about the brand new Mandarin Oriental Paris, Blakes Hotel’s newly refurbished rooms, or the new Trump Toronto that will open doors soon; we wait with awaited breath as Virgin Hotels plans their first space hotel! Train travel has come a long way, with China making a foray into luxury fast trains while the Greenbrier will revive the old-fashioned luxury trains in America.
Before we wrap up this week, don’t forget to add Ritz-Carlton as a friend on FourSquare. That’s right; the hotel company is on the location-based app. and tipping at the tip of your finger! No pun intended!

The World's costliest cooking pot up for grabs
There is a difference between being a foodie and being a culinary lover. Once you get that sorted, you would know that loving food doesn’t necessarily mean liking pots and pans too. But if you are looking for a way to your man’s heart in style, head over to Changchun, the capital of China's Jilin Province. The Zhuo Zhan department store at Changchun has put on sale its most opulent cooking pot. Set in pure gold, the pot sports gold handles and a gold lid bringing the pot’s weight to 738 grams.

A number plate in Dubai fetches AED1.5 million
OK it’s not as expensive as a 7 digit number plate that sold at UAE, but its worth quite a bomb nonetheless, and interesting too. Why would anyone want to buy a license plate at an auction is really beyond me. Any way, a motor vehicle number plate went under that hammer at a Dubai based auction for the Emirates’ Roads and Transport Authority as the RTA said on Monday. The 72nd edition of the auction saw license plate numbered K 50 that fetched AED1.5m ($408,400). The second most expensive plate, the I 26, fetched AED1.3 million ($353,915), while the plate numbered G-36earned AED1.14 million ($310,357).

Dallas Mavericks celebrated first ever NBA championship with a $90,000 Armand de Brignac

| Marc Cuban the Maverick boss |
Any team that wins a major championship for the first time deserves a grand celebration. But the definition of grand, purely depends on who is the one treating the team, as the Dallas Mavericks learnt. After winning their first ever NBA championship, team owner Marc Cuban treated his team with a gala celebration at the Club Liv in Miami's Fountainbleau Hotel.
The bill game up to a staggering $110,000, which includes a $90,000 worth Nebuchadnezzar of Armand de Brignac - a 15L champagne bottle, but that baby was as good as 20 regular sized bottles. Considering his humble beginnings, it also made sense that Cuban also left a $20,000 tip as the team continued its partying spree till 5 a.m. in the morning.

Winners of $17 million lottery plan to treat their pet with a diamond dog collar
Well some people have nothing, but yet would splurge on the most ridiculous of things despite winning a bit lottery. I don’t know how else to describe what Peter and Jacqueline Redikin, from Cheadle Heath, Stockport had in mind after winning a double rollover draw worth £11 million (PA)! 50-year old Peter who used to purchase same number each week originally believed he won only $15.95million and burst into tears on realizing that he hit the jackpot. The couple, who collected a cheque amounting to $17,834,395 at Old Trafford, Manchester United, is keen to get a diamond necklace for their pet dog Mitzy, after which they plan to book a vacation on the Orient Express, and buy their first car. Well not all items on their wish list are in vain.
