The jewel in the center of the Carrera GT crown is a 5.7-liter, 605-horsepower V10 engine originally designed for Le Mans duties, but tweaked to make it suitable for the street. Mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission, this lump helped propel the carbon-fiber-bodied rocket to 60 mph in less than four seconds and 125 mph is approached in less than 10 seconds. Top speed was rated at 205 mph. Though released less than 10 years ago, this road-legal race car is already considered a classic, and the world’s appreciation for this car will only continue to grow with time.
