A rare 1961 Aston Martin DB4 Vantage Convertible to go under the hammer

Time to add another vintage car to your garage, and coming your way is a 1961 Aston Martin DB4. One of only 70 variants ever made, the chassis was specially created for famed actor and diplomat Sir Peter Ustinov.
The DB4 engine features a “dual overhead camshafts and displacing 3,670 cc, was entirely constructed from aluminum and produced 240 bhp in standard tune with dual SU carburetors”. The car can hit 0-100-0 mph in under 30 seconds.

The car will go under the hammer on Thursday, June 23, 2011 and has been estimated to fetch between £250,000 ($409,940) and £320,000 ($524,720). I really hope the stunning car finds a good and caring home.
